Directions by bus:

From Jerusalem:

• Take 143 or 179 buses from tachanat hamerkazit (central bus station) located on Yaffo Street in Jerusalem directly to the yishuv. See www.egged.co.il for updated bus schedule.

Directions by car:

From Jerusalem:

Take “Begin North” until the Maale Adumim exit (one after Ramot exit). Turn right at the exit and drive straight up te hill past Ramat Shlomo (on your left) until French Hill which will be your second traffic light. At French hill be sure to move onto the left most lane. At the next light (right underneath the highway) exit left up the ramp unto highway 1.

Proceed past the first exit until you reach a traffic light. Make a left at the traffic light and drive all the way down the hill (you will pass through a round-about on th way down the hill) until you reach the Hizme checkpoint. At the checkpoint, make a left turn toward “Bet-El”. Take this road until the next round-about (adjacent to “Adam” yishuv). Travel aaproximately 1/2 way around the round-about and make a right turn towards “Tel Tzion”.

Drive straight until you reach a gas station on your left. make a left turn at the gas station and continue stright through the next round-about past the bus stop. Proceed up the hill until you see a gree Camel sign. Make a left turn at the green camel sign and proceed to the front gate of Kochav Yaakov.

From Outside of Jerusalem:

Take the Tel-Aviv-Jerusalem highway (highway 1) until the entrace of Jerusalem. make the first left turn as soon as you enter the city and get onto “Begin North” then follow directions as shown above.
